2. Hosting and server log files

This website is a static website. When you access its pages, the hosting provider automatically processes information in so-called server log files that your browser transmits. This includes: IP address (truncated or full, depending on the provider), date and time of access, page accessed, browser type and version, operating system used, and the referrer URL.

Processing is based on Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR. Our legitimate interest is the technically error-free presentation and the security of the website. The log files are deleted automatically after the retention periods customary at the provider. The data is not merged with other data sources.

3. Cookies and tracking

This website does not set any cookies, does not use analytics or tracking services, and does not embed external fonts or third-party scripts. No usage profiles are created, and no cookie consent is required.

To switch between the light and dark design, the website stores your choice in your browser's localStorage. This entry contains no personal data and is not transmitted to us or to third parties.

4. Contact by e-mail

If you contact us by e-mail, the information you provide (e-mail address, name, content of the message) is stored by us for the purpose of processing the enquiry and for follow-up questions. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) lit. b GDPR where the enquiry relates to a contract, otherwise Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR. We do not pass this data on without your consent and delete it as soon as it is no longer required for the purpose of processing, provided no statutory retention obligations apply.

5. Contact and request forms

On this website you can submit requests via forms (e.g. the contact form, track requests, the contingency check, the skill audit and the delivery of PDF documents). The data processed is what you enter: name, company, e-mail address, selected topic and your message, plus the context of the form (e.g. the requested track).

The details are transmitted to our web server in encrypted form and delivered to us by e-mail. We use them exclusively to process your request and for follow-up questions. There is no newsletter mailing and no transfer to third parties. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) lit. b GDPR where the request relates to a contract, otherwise Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR. We delete the data as soon as it is no longer required for the purpose of processing, provided no statutory retention obligations apply. If the transmission fails, the website instead opens your e-mail client with a prepared message. In that case the notes on contact by e-mail apply.

6. External links

This website links to external platforms such as YouTube and LinkedIn. These are plain links only, not embedded content. Preview images of linked videos are served by our own server. No data is therefore transferred to these platforms when you visit this website. Only when you click such a link do the privacy policies of the respective provider apply.

7. Your rights

With regard to the personal data concerning you, you have the following rights vis-a-vis us:

  • Access to the data we store about you (Art. 15 GDPR)
  • Rectification of inaccurate data (Art. 16 GDPR)
  • Erasure of your data (Art. 17 GDPR)
  • Restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR)
  • Data portability (Art. 20 GDPR)
  • Objection to processing (Art. 21 GDPR)

To exercise these rights, an informal e-mail to info@bordonaro-it.de is sufficient.

8. Right to lodge a complaint

You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR). The authority responsible for us is the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information of Rhineland-Palatinate, Hintere Bleiche 34, 55116 Mainz, Germany.
